On my first setup, the wifi extender gets interent access by some ethernet port on the wall but the problem is with this setup I can only use wifi as this ethernet port is too far away from my gaming setup so I have to use wifi. On my second setup I can use a wired connection because my wifi repeater doesn't need internet access from that ethernet port on the wall so that means I can put the repeater closer to my ps3 which then allows me to use wired connection conveniently. The speeds on ps3 show up as 50mbps. Which setup is better for online gaming? I heard wired method is more consistent but the wifi method has more bandwidth so which one would you recommend for me to use? Edit: Tried both setups and the wireless was not bad I didn't lag much could barely notice. But the wired was just crazy I played some American lobby in a game and barely lagged at all(I live in SEA).
